The Dirk Swain Foundation (DSF) is dedicated to uplifting the community by educating and empowering young people (ages 13-18) through self-esteem building, discipline and guidance.
DSF offers teen participants the opportunity to flourish and grow creatively, academically and socially through hands-on filmmaking workshops in: writing, directing, producing, acting, editing and camera.

On May 22 and 23rd, the DSF took to Brooklyn's "Boys and Girls" Highschool in New York to teach an intensive and fun 2-Day MRATT Film Workshop to local Teens. The day was filled with lots of promise, enthusiasm and mentoring. Check out our pictures and visit us on facebook for more.

Paramount Studios opened its doors to MRATT on May 22 and 23. Teens were given the opportunity to meet and work with celebrities, actors and a talented group of Workshop Instructors. Teens also were on hand to conduct video interviews that are posted on our facebook page.

MRATT returned to host site, "The Complex" to bring Teens "The Music Video & Commercial Experience". New popular rap sensation, Supa, was on hand to star in the music video produced and directed by our teens. Actor Ashton Kutcher came by in support and tweeted us to 4 million!

The DSF proudly kicked off its flagship program, "Makin' Room At The Top", with a group of talented Teens and Volunteer Workshop Instructors in Los Angeles. Workshop Instructors helped Teens write, direct, act and edit a short film that will launch later this year.
